Why integrative Psychotherapy?
Integrative psychotherapy combines a number of theoretical and practical approaches in Psychotherapy and Counselling rather than being restricted to a singular approach which may or may not meet or match my clients and their needs.
At its core, is the belief that different people will need a different approach at different times.
It can makes use of psychodynamic, cognitive, existential or physiological understandings of a person's experience so as to provide a more complete view but it also enables me to tailor my approach and technique in accordance to my clients so as to better serve them.
My work is particularly informed by psychodynamic, existential and humanistic approaches.
